Circassian DNA Project — 1st project of its kind about Circassians and studies its history, archaeology, linguistics, and genetic makeup of Circassians. Founded in 2016 by Ali Berzeg.

• Elucidating the significance of genetic genealogy for ethnic history.

• Giving instructions to testers on every step of the testing process.

• Looking for new testers and sponsors for the project.

• The project does not have a laboratory and does not make DNA sequencing.
  Проект не имеет лаборатории и не проводит секвенирование ДНК.
• The project’s founders and volunteers contribute their own funds to it; however, they do not derive financial profit from it. We are fully non-profit organization.
  Основатели проекта и волонтёры вкладывают в него собственные средства и не получают от этого финансовой прибыли. Мы являемся полностью некоммерческой организацией.

Achievements of the Circassian DNA project:

• Cataloging 1000+ Circassian surnames along with examinations and offering an in-depth analysis and interpretation of the test results.
  Каталогизация 1000+ черкесских фамилий вместе с предоставлением углубленного анализа и интерпретации результатов тестов.
• Identifying connections between families in Circassia and those in the diaspora to foster connections among us; also concerns the relations with others peoples.
  Выявление связей между родами в Черкесии и диаспоре для укрепления связей между нами; касается также связей черкесов с другими народами.
• Investigating the history and development of the Circassian community.
  Изучение исторического прошлого и развития черкесского общества.

Genetic genealogy combines traditional genealogical research with DNA testing to uncover the ancestral origins of individuals and their familial connections. This approach not only enhances our understanding of personal heritage but also contributes to larger narratives about migration patterns, population diversity, and the interconnectedness of various ethnic groups throughout history.

Генетическая генеалогия сочетает традиционные генеалогические исследования с ДНК-тестированием для раскрытия предкового происхождения людей и их семейных связей.
